Anyone ever had this happen to them?

I had my tire replaced couple weeks ago rode the bike three maybe 4 times just commuting no twisties. Went to check pressure to go for a Easter ride noticed the tire was low, put some air in it. I could hear some air rushing out, pushed on the rubber body of the valve stem and it popped out in my hand.  tire went flat instantly so glad this didn’t happen on my ride.
