Мotorcycle chain accident

I was driving home from work when I heard a loud snap, followed by a new loud ticking sound. Thinking the chain snapped or something, gave it some gas to check and nope still had power, peeked under the chain guard and the chain was now a good 2cm slacker then before my other guess was my clutch turned into soup or something so i drove to the nearest garage only to find this miracle snap on the master link of my chain when I stopped for gas. :/ found the source of the sound atleast. No clue how to bring it back home (150km away from work)
