Last year, BMW Motorrad sold a record number of motorcycles — 164 153. For the seventh year in a row, the Bavarian manufacturer is ramping up production and the pace of sales. Last year the increase amounted to 13.2% from 145 032 motorcycles sold in 2016. The company's management anticipates further growth.   • sales in France accounted for 16 607 (+24.3%), Italy — 14 430 (+17.3%), Spain — 11 193 (+17.6%), UK — 9 550 (+8.7%)
  • Deliveries to the European market increased by about 15%
  • Germany remains most important market for BMW (26 664 units, +7.1%)
  • for the first time, BMW Motorrad has sold more than 50 000 units BMW R1200GS/R1200GS Adventure
  • Sale boxer motorcycle was 86 090 units and grew by 9.6% thanks to new models R nineT (Pure Racer, Urban G/S)
  • Sale motorcycles S-series (S1000RR, S1000R, S1000XR) was 21 752 units (+13.3% of total sales)
  • Sales models G310R and G310GS was 11 595 units
  • Sales of 6-cylinder models made up 6 719 units (+50%)
