The BMW R-Series of motorcycles from the 1980s is one of the more popular bikes when it comes to being used as the base for some creative customization. And obviously, ‘Black Mamba’ isn’t the first motorcycle, created on the base of R80, but it might be one of the most aggressive ones. And it’s a good thing, as we would like to see this stunning creature go into production right now.

The Paris-based workshop “Barbara Custom Motorcycles” still gets a lot of compliments on their new masterpiece, which exceeded all expectations. The redesigned custom bike “Black Mamba” is a bold transformation of an old bike into a futuristic two-wheeled beast. Keeping the original look of the flat-twin airhead engine, unique carburetors and single-side swingarm, Barbara Custom Motorcycles, of course, added some update features – such as a modern RnineT swingarm, USD front forks, and mashed the seat, tank and headlight all into one futuristic saddle and sleek single-piece front fairing.

This concept bike can be described as a vehicle “straight out of future yet a blast from the past”.
