The Russian-based tuning master built an original tricycle, inspired by the Canadian Campagna T-Rexcar.

He didn’t have any sketch or prototype, so he completely rethought the concept.

Building a T-Rex sports car. The custom project has only three wheels – one front and two rear wheels. The customizer says, it was really hard to build the car, as there was practically no information. The model is produced by the Campagna Motors, located in Quebec, Canada, and is sold only in North America. This rear three-wheeled motor vehicle is priced at $66,000.

At first, the Russian customizer welded the frame, but soon he figured out that did something wrong. He rebuilt it two more times to achieve the desired result. He also designed the mechanical part himself, and therefore the concept can be considered partly a replica of the Canadian T-Rex, and partly – a unique project. From technical point of view, it’s a hybrid of a car and a motorcycle.

The customizer took the engine from the Kawasaki Z750 (106 hp). He also used the gearbox and the chain drive. Instead of springs, he took pneumatic elements of the model, making the clearance adjustable. The Russian handyman also made a lock that does not allow to move until the clutch is squeezed out.

For the reverse, an electric motor with a 45 mAh battery was added, and the engine was placed behind the driver’s cab to ensure the mass distribution. The sequential gearbox has kept the motorcycle shifting algorithm.

Exterior and interior. A bright gold color, headlights and interior of the T-Rex, of course, attract attention. The headlights were borrowed from the Nissan, body panels are made of fiberglass. There is a trunk on the left and a subwoofer speaker on the right.

The front panel was used from the Volkswagen Polo, but it had to be “reduced” due to the size of the trike. The device panel is taken from the Mazda 3. There is also a removable handlebar, which is a safety measure and a standard detail for sports models. T-Rex seats are made of leather, and the hybrid mass reaches 450 kg.

It took the master 4 years and an insanely large amount of money to finish the project.

However, it’s really hard to get documents for this type of vehicle in Russia, but the customizer believes it was worth it, as his dream came true.
