All new 2023 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT new update it will come with a Radar Cruise Control system in next model. Today, we've seen a number of motorcycle manufacturers take some of the technology from 4 wheelers, install and deploy them on 2 wheelers, and most recently, Yamaha seems to be another manufacturer to follow in its path. same It will be equipped with a radar sensor system that is used as an advanced analysis and monitoring of driving safety.

A few weeks ago A spyshot of the Yamaha manufacturer's product has been revealed. It is expected that the Radar sensor will be installed at the front of the car. This can be seen from some minor changes to the front end. by adding a thin plastic sheet that helps hide the sensor inside Without this plastic will not affect the performance of the transmitted waves.&

From the current manufacturer offering the same functionality, Ducati is equipped with a Radar system on the Ducati Mltistrada V4, which will be installed both front and rear, as KTM uses the same system on the 1290. The company's Adventure S, with both models clearly exposed to the sensor. Unlike Kawasaki, which installed this sensor on the 2022 kawasaki H2 SX, it is hidden by a plastic cover. This is the same approach Yamaha chose to use on its own Tracer 9 GT.

Where Yamaha Tracer 9 GT is equipped with sensors. into the arc of the body above the front wheels between the headlights below using a special black plastic That helps conceal and hide a large sensor inside the bike. As a result, the internal tank body between those lights needed a slight facelift. But it will not have an overall effect on the overall look of the bike and its performance will be reduced.

Which the function of the sensor Will work with the Adaotive Cruise Control system that can adjust the speed automatically. The sensor will help to measure the distance from the object in front to have a constant speed. In conclusion, if we follow the car in front and turn on this system. The car will run automatically and maintain the distance as the driver set. And when the system detects a slower speed, the car will be able to reduce its speed by itself. as well as detecting abnormal speed reductions. The system will alert or may include activating the automatic emergency braking system at the same time.

There's no indication that the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT being tested will sport the same rear sensors as the Mltistrada V4 and KTM 1290 Adventure S, but it's expected to opt for a single front sensor like kawasaki H2 SX, although the rear radar does. It is a shorter distance sensor and is easier to hide. But it has to be traded with a more complicated work system and a high production price. As a result, the selling price has moved too high.

It's possible that similarly used products such as the Yamaha MT-09, XSR900, and extended models like Niken might get this system as an option in the future. We'll have to wait and see if Yamaha will place this system as standard on higher-end products or as an option for future users.
