The Baja Rally is getting ready for the 2023 event already, even though it’s not actually scheduled to run until next October.
The organizers have posted next year’s schedule to the event’s website already, with October 1 in San Quintin blocked off for registration and vehicle inspection. On October 2, Stage 1 runs from San Quintin to Catavina. The next day, riders do a Catavina-Catavina loop for Stage 2; Stage 3 sees riders head from Catavina to Bahia de Los Angeles. On Stage 4, riders return to Catavina, and on Stage 5, there’s another loop out of Catavina. Stage 6 ends the race on October 7, running back to San Quintin.
Fees are also listed on the site (see below). It’s much cheaper if you sign up early, in the January 1—February 1 time slot. Late entry sees the price rise a lot, so if you’re serious about this event, get your plans nailed down early. Also note that it’s a lot less money to run in the non-competitive category, if you just want the experience and not a trophy.
You can find more information on the event in the press release below, or head to bajarallymoto.com to check out the details.
