Adventures of YB125 in Chile, part 12
So let's continue!!!
Each glacier in Patagonia (and there are so many of them in the national park, including the Northern Ice Field) gives out a dozen or more waterfalls. We really thought that you have already lost the photographic fervor for them long ago, but then, involuntarily, you still take the camera, it's a great power!
Explorer glacier and the San Valentine top, hidden in the clouds. We have long stretched the pleasure of contemplating the condors and the glacier, in the secret hope that the clouds will still disperse. It's hard to imagine how many there are hidden in the clouds, but if you consider that the viewpoint is at 219 m above sea level, and the height of San Valentina is 4,027 meters ... there is something grand!
The Explorades glacier was again from the category of irretrievably disappearing glaciers. Today, the scale of the glacier in the past can be estimated from the moraine ridges and the depth of its bed. But in this form the glacier causes trembling. Instead of a powerful tongue, there is mostly moraine chaos. But still there are blue eyes of ice.
Glacial river after rain
It seems that in Patagonia our heartbeat began to increase. Love! This land is infinitely beautiful, although it is so severe that we sometimes rejoice that we are just guests. Farewell look to Lake General Carrera ...
There is nothing better than warming flames of a fire on a rainy evening at a raging crystal river.
There should have been a long text :) And should we say that for breakfast we had sandwiches with trout spicy salting? It was our first caught fish of this size! For some reason there it was called salmon.
In the waves of the extraordinary beauty of the Baker River, swallows or rafters fly by :) But these little, fearless, sometimes seem to disappear behind the next rampart, but no, they appear again...
Surprisingly, but the fact: let the fish go is as pleasant as catch it.
Stay tuned!! We'll continue!
