‘MYA’ is a Flat Tracker custom, a motorcycle, designed for riding on the ground, a scrambler, if you want. But only very, very fast and powerful.The idea of this custom concept belonged to Rossi and a designer Rodolfo Frascoli. Initially, Vale wanted a unique bike for the dirt track, specially created for his needs - fast, very clear, reminding him something really close and of course, made by Yamaha.
The XJR1300 Flat Tracker takes its inspiration from the TZ750, its look defined the whole concept. But what bike should be taken as a basis to build a modern super tracker?
Rodolfo Frascoli says: "When I decided to build a special bike for Valentino Rossi, we immediately realized what it should be, and that the best basis would be the Yamaha XJR 1300. We completely changed it, rebuilt it from scratch and added a lot of details from other bikes. Certainly, the TZ 750 is an icon for 40 years already, the real icon of Yamaha. There was no doubt, that the new bike should adopt its style. MYA is not just a try in finding a style, but a perfectly specific motorcycle for a particular person, created according to his requirements. As a result, we built a really unique, ultra-modern bike. And very, very fast. Everything, what Vale loves – it’s a dirt tracker with the XJR-1300 engine! "YAMAHA MYA VR46 features:
