The Yamaha MotoGP factory team has just presented an all-new2019 YZR-M1 in Jakarta, Indonesia. To whet your appetite, we can say, that the merging of the iconic Yamaha blue and the Monster Energy black brings a new energy to the project, with the phrase ‘Beast Mode On’ a signal of Yamaha’s intentions in 2019 after a difficult 2018.

Maverick Vinales and Valentino Rossi, who are both signed with the manufacturer through 2020,are confident about their new livery and will make their debuts riding the new M1 in the first pre-season test at Sepang on February 6-8.

“I can't wait to start, the holidays were already too long,” Vinales said. “I would like to be on the bike.“I'm really curious to see if we can push the bike at the maximum already in the first test.”

Rossi added: “For me it’s a long time with Monster and I always feel very comfortable. I like the colours, the green and black are good with the blue of our Yamaha - it’s aggressive, we’re like Men in Black. I’m very proud, it’s important to have Monster as a main sponsor.”
