The Yamaha YZF-R1 GYTR superbike celebrates 20th anniversary. Since its first debut in 1998, the YZF-R1 is still one of the best sportbikes, as evidenced by numerous triumphs, as well as four-in-a-row victories at the prestigious Suzuka 8-Hours endurance race. In order to celebrate the anniversary, the manufacturer has released that red and white version for the European market.

This 2019 Yamaha YZF-R1 GYTR superbike is the anniversary version. It’s a track-only model, so it is completed with the race-only items, Öhlins FGRT 219 / TTX36 GP front fork package, Brembo brakes and Bridgestone slicks. All these details are mixed with a fully adjustable steering damper and a full titanium Akrapovič Evolution 2 exhaust system. Protectors for the crankcase and wheel axles are done by Gilles Tooling. The fairing is made of carbon fiber. Each bike is set up for the particular client.

The Japanese brand plans to sell only 20 bikes!
