- Special MV Agusta F3 800 was up for auction
- Features a unique livery and decals
- Collected funds will be utilised by UNICEF for vulnerable children
MV Agusta motorcycles are true design and engineering marvels and owning one brings along a snob value for sure. This is the reason, despite being so expensive, MV Agusta models book a place in garages of several enthusiasts and collectors across the world. While the mass-production motorcycles are already special, the one-off F3 800 we are talking about here is truly authentic.
Limited to a single unit, this special MV Agusta F3 800 was recently up for auction at the UNICEF Summer Gala in Sardinia, Italy. The quoted price tag of the motorcycle was a jaw-dropping €100,000. Despite the extravagant price tag, the motorcycle drew a buyer at the event and the collected fund will be utilised by UNICEF for helping vulnerable children. UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund) is an organisation which works towards the welfare of underprivileged children across 190 countries and territories across the globe.
Adorning white and blue livery, this F3 800 sports ‘UNICEF’ decals on the rear cowl and its designated logo on fuel tank and fairing. Moreover, the motorcycle also gets blue coloured stitching on the seat and blue pinstriping on the wheels. Besides the special paint job and decals, the motorcycle remains unchanged mechanically. Powering the F3 800 is a 798cc, liquid-cooled, inline three-cylinder motor which churns out 145.9bhp of power and 88Nm of peak torque.
