Santander Salt TAG Racing, the British Superbike team, presented the sensational livery that their Yamaha will wear this year at the British competition.
The British Superbike continues to offer us some of the most spectacular liveries that we will find this year in competition. If a few days ago we showed you what the brand new Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP will be like from the official Honda team in the BSB, this time it's time to show you how the Yamaha YZF-R1 and YZF-R6 of Santander Salt TAG Racing will be, a team with a presence in the Superbike, Superstock 1000 and Superstock 600 categories of the British Championship.
The most picturesque aspect of the decoration is obvious, which is nothing more than that iconic combination of yellow and black that the Yamaha competition of the 70s wore and which is also part of the design of these spectacular R1 and R6. For several years now, this British team has been using this vintage decoration, increasingly perfected and more faithful to what the Yamaha used to be nearly half a century ago.
Santander Salt TAG Racing's commitment is very ambitious, since they have one more year with the experienced Dan Linfoot and Jack Kennedy, two-time Supersport champion in the British competition in 2018 and 2019, joins their ranks. In the Superstock 1000 subcategory will be Shaun Winfield, while in Superstock 600 Liam Delves will be in charge of piloting the team's Yamaha YZF-R6.
On their debut before the British Superbike kicks off on 9 August at Donington Park, TAG Racing spared no photos to show off their weapons for this season. Here you have a wide selection of images of the Yamaha R1 and R6, as well as the team's riders.
