For breakfast, then east over Carson Pass on CA-88 to Upcountry Cafe in Markleeville for an espresso, returning to Pollock Pines via the Mormon Emigrant Trail. Perfect fall day for riding...

Before this week's rain. Return via the Mas d'Azil cave (Ariège), a must-see on trips to the region....
