Yamaha YZF-R1 World GP 60th Anniversary Edition

For the base of the TKRP 60th Anniversary Special Yamaha has built the YZF-R1M. With its characteristic MotoGP derived 200 HP crossplane engine, the 1405 mm short wheelbase and a stock wet weight of under 200 kg, the YZF-R1M is surely one of the most impressive superbikes on the current market. However, Yamaha didn't stop there. The new R-design aerodynamic bodywork, Öhlins Electronic Racing Suspension (ERS), the new dashboard, the state-of-the-art electronics package including a six-axis IMU and an up-and down quickshifter are only a few of the outstanding features that make the YZF-R1M the most advanced superbike of all!

-MotoGP derived aerodynamic bodywork;
-Öhlins Electronic Racing Suspension (ERS);
-Öhlins NPX anti-cavitation gas forks;
-Brake Control (BC) system;
-Engine Brake Management (EBM) system;
-998cc MotoGP derived crossplane engine;
-Ride-by-wire APSG throttle;
-Launch Control (LCS) system;
-6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU);
-High-tech electronic control features.

After reading this you might wonder why the R1M is not going on track straight from the factory. But although the YZF-R1M standards are already extremely high, we would not be Ten Kate Racing Products if we did not find ways to upgrade the package further. Check below what we changed to make the TKRP Yamaha YZF-R1M 60th GP Anniversary Special ready to race!
