Restarting
I got this bike in fall 2014. She had spent many years gathering dust at the back of the garage for my brother Francis. Once brought home, first thing: a state of place and restarted. A drain an oil filter, two candles, a few drops of essence SP98 and a battery. Compared to my project I chose a smaller battery and discreet as possible: [a LiFePO4 lithium from 4,6Ah.
Gasoline is opened, a little choke, two to three shots ... starter and the engine begins to purr like a cat clock. I am leaving immediately for the ride. Although it weighs only 171kg (in theory) I find it clumsy. With this low saddle-type chopper I quickly legs hurt with my great template. I also have difficulty in maneuvers with the handlebars cow horn.
But hey, everything works fine and it's essential. Back to the studio where I forget a few months.
Meanwhile I discovered on a sales site of occasions, two radius wheels 18 inches of Z400 (on the 440 there are 19 in the front and 17 inch rear wheels to fight ). I jumped at the secondhand and bought two complete spoked wheels and in fairly good condition (the rear wheel is just a little piqued).
